Various Projects at Western Michigan University ATIS
Surplus Hardware Catalog
Built for Western Michigan University, this database-driven web application catalogued all of the surplus hardware and furniture held onto by academic departments. This allowed academic departments to browse listings in order to find and request hardware and furniture that was otherwise not being used but already owned by the university. An eBay-style transaction system was implemented in order to allow academic departments to request items, as well as specify quantities and delivery information. This system allowed the university to save money by letting academic departments trade assets. Due to restrictions with Western Michigan University is not available for public viewing.
Intranet
Built for Western Michigan University’s Web Application Group, this custom-built system increased ease of communication between group members regarding the various projects the department worked on. This increased effective communication as well as boosted productivity, since all team members could easily be brought up-to-speed on changes needed on web applications. Due to restrictions with Western Michigan University, it is not available for public viewing.

Though this website is no longer available online, the highly-database-driven web application served at the basis for the evaluation of this research study.
